The Performer RPM Intake Manifold is the network of passages that directs air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head. It is designed especially for spread-bore carburetors but also works with square-bore carburetor without adapter. The Performer RPM intake manifolds have a high-rise dual-plane layout with patented runner tuning and a 180 degree firing order. Performer RPMs have larger plenums and runners to match the free-flowing exhaust high-lift cams and other modifications of a high-output engine. The factory composition-type embossed gasket also works satisfactorily.
